JAMES PODLUCKY, INDUSTRY SOLUTIONS MANAGER --KATE DEAN, TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – STATE AND LOCAL GOVERNMENT
This 4-part webinar series focuses on the phases of emergency management: Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery.
Utilizing an all-hazards approach helps organizations be flexible and focus on capabilities that are critical to preparedness for a full spectrum of emergencies or disasters. As severe weather season approaches, it is important to recognize that each type of hazard has unique characteristics, yet common elements. Rather than managing planning initiatives for a multitude of threat scenarios, the all-hazards approach can simplify and optimize your planning and preparedness.
The response phase includes actions to save lives and prevent further property damage throughout a critical event. A phase when all your plans, policies, and procedures are put into action, this webinar will discuss best practices in responding to severe weather events including:
- Ways to expand your reach to the whole community instantly
- Ability to mobilize a coordinated response team quickly with integrated systems
- How a data-driven approach can inform response activities
