Meet the speakers

Brian Toolan joined the Everbridge family in April 2016 as the Technical Account Manager for the AlertFlorida Statewide notification system, and currently serves as the Director of Government Strategy. Brian came to Everbridge after completing a 24-year career in public safety with the State of Connecticut. Brian served as the program manager for the Urban Search and Rescue Task Force where he gained valuable experiencing utilizing the Everbridge platform as a customer.


Brian was also the Operations Chief for the State Emergency Operations Center and served the State during historic blizzards, hurricanes, floods, the largest natural gas power plant explosion in the US and other natural and man-made disasters. While serving as the TAM in Florida, Brian has assisted the State Division of Emergency Management in the Florida Emergency Operations Center during Hurricane Matthew and Hurricane Irma.

Marty Hebert has spent 15 years in the Smart Home and Security industries leading go-to-market functions and building strong partnerships. Prior to RapidSOS, Marty served as the Senior Director of Corporate and Program Accounts for Alarm.com. There, he led partnerships with some of the largest companies in the home security marketplace. He helped craft go-to-market strategies that those companies enacted to deploy Alarm.com products and services to millions of homes and businesses.


Working closely with all functional teams within the company, Marty helped develop partner and customer-facing solutions that are now recognized as expected standards. As Head of Security at RapidSOS, Marty will lead the charge in empowering first responders with life-saving data by linking connected security platforms to emergency services, which in turn, will better protect individuals, homes, and communities.
