Jennifer Castro has served as the Communications Director of the Anchorage Police Department since May of 2013. She was hired to revamp the department’s public communications and improve community engagement. Prior to joining the department, Castro worked as a creative director and writer for a local advertising agency, and as a news producer for the local NBC affiliate – KTUU.
