About the speaker

Sarah Powell is the director of emergency management at Temple University in Philadelphia. In this role, she provides leadership, subject matter expertise and vision for TUready, the Temple University emergency management program. She is responsible for incident and crisis management planning; business continuity and disaster recovery strategic planning; and educational initiatives for staff, faculty, and students. She also has served as an adjunct faculty member at Philadelphia University and Temple University. 

Ravi Maira is vice president of industry and solution marketing at Everbridge. He is responsible for translating the technology benefits of Everbridge’s products into value understood by customers, in the language of their own businesses. Maira has more than 25 years of experience working for technology companies to help them build their products, tell their stories, and delight their customers. Prior to joining the Everbridge team, Maira was responsible for products at Unbxd, spent 16+ years at Akamai Technologies in leadership roles and worked with Avid Technology, Avid Sports and Vsoft Ltd.
