Christopher Horne is Assistant Vice President, Business Continuity Management and Corporate Security at CIBC Mellon.  Chris is responsible for planning and strategy for corporate business recovery and contingency planning at CIBC Mellon, as well as for coordinating the company’s flexible emergency, incident management, business recovery and service continuity response program.  Chris is also responsible for corporate security at CIBC Mellon, including physical security, corporate security, and corporate investigations.  Over his career, Chris has led business continuity preparation and response efforts for diverse operations in the retail, banking, energy, and financial services industries. Chris is President of the Canadian chapter of the Business Continuity Institute, a Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI), a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP), Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), and a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
