An Everbridge Research Report
After the volatility of the past year, it's no surprise that CEM has shot up the corporate agenda. Two-thirds of organisations are currently employing specialist tools and software to manage their CEM plans. And 32.4% are now able to activate their plans in five minutes.
But a lack of clear communication is threatening to undermine these efforts. apps, text, emails, TV, radio, newspapers, and social media are all used to send vital updates about the coronavirus outbreak. Without a coordinated strategy from a single, trusted source though, are these messages causing clarity or chaos?
To get more insight into this issue Everbridge recently surveyed 9,003 employees across 13 markets.
We found:
- Employees are more disparate and diverse than ever
- Businesses are missing key channels of communication
- Workers expect more information, more often
- Targeted Communications outweigh privacy ad security concerns
