Right now, security professionals are stretched to balance a complex emergency response with ongoing needs. While trying to solution evacuations or shelter in place support for those in the Middle East, the same teams are tasks with maintaining daily activities for protecting employees, sites and assets. The challenge presents an opportunity to apply lessons learned from the crisis to improve critical, ongoing travel security measures.
ASIS welcomed Nada Marjanovich, Director of Travel Risk Management Solutions at Everbridge. Nada shared lessons learned from supporting clients during the first two weeks of the Middle East conflict and connect the outputs to help strengthen practices for improved travel security.
Key areas will include:
- Current response situation in the Middle East
- Best practices for evacuation requests
- Considerations for the coming year
- Improving everyday travel security by applying lessons learned in the crisis
- Three things to do as soon as possible
