Recent events across the west coast have displayed the potentially disastrous effects severe weather and flooding can have. Public safety agencies must take calculated steps to ensure they are properly prepared in the event of severe weather and flooding causing damage, evacuations, or other critical incidents.
Register for the demo webinar to hear from Jeff Jelinek, Emergency Management Director of Sauk County, WI Emergency Management who will be joining us March 23rd at 1pm ET to discuss how his agency used Everbridge Nixle to manage critical communications during recent severe river flooding within Sauk County. Jeff will be covering a number of scenarios that may be encountered during severe flooding, including:
- Updating residents of weather forecasts and river heights
- Mitigating road closures and traffic incidents
- Addressing public health concerns
- Communicating with local media
Following Jeff’s presentation, Everbridge Nixle’s own Scott Benoit will give a brief demo of the Everbridge Nixle Solution.
There will be a short Q & A with the speakers at the conclusion of both presentations.
