At any given moment, there are as many as 90,000 active missing person cases in the US and about 800,000 children reported missing each year. The Anchorage Police Department has seen great success taking an innovative and active approach to finding missing persons in their community.


Join us January 30th to hear from MJ Thim, PIO of the Anchorage PD, as he describes how his department has been so successful finding missing persons. MJ will be sharing recent use cases as well as best practices for leveraging residents to find missing persons faster.

MJ Thim has been with Anchorage Police Department since June 2017 and manages the department's external communications and community outreach, including filling the role of spokesperson for the Anchorage Police Department.
